Our program was fortunate enough to receive a surprise donation from the community during our Breakfast with Santa in November.
Mr. and Mrs. Weegar are the proud grandparents of one of the kids that are involved in our program. They have had the opportunity to see their grandchild perform, and have been impressed with the quality of the art, music, and drama presentations that our kids have done.
The Weegar’s recently attended the Breakfast with Santa to once again see what their grandchild has been able to do as part of the Arts After School Kids program. As a result of this event, and to show their appreciation for the work we have been able to do, they have provided us with a generous donation of $2500.00.
We are very thankful and truly blessed to have the Weegar’s provide us with such an incredible show of support for our program. The money we raise is invaluable for helping to provide programs in drama, visual arts, music, and dance for our kids at a time where less and less of these programs are being provided in our schools.
On behalf of the Arts After School Kids program, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Weegar’s for their generosity and support.
